13th January Update
I’ll make update blue as they’ll look less ominous that way. Small update, a promised one though. They sadly don’t bake well after being frozen. I don’t know what it is that causes they to go stale so fast. I’d hazard a guess that it’s a lack of moisture. It’s true for most freshly baked breads, scones etc, even the gluten based ones, they don’t hold up for long. Thankfully most can be frozen. These will just have to be eaten fresh and warm, right out of the oven. What a noble sacrifice we’ll all be making. WAIT…These use two eggs, I forgot that. Well, just half the recipe if you only need two. Well, that’s handier. It’d be great to be freezable, but it’s better than nothing. I need to remember my own recipes better.
