100g Caster Sugar
80g (4 Tbsp) Golden Syrup
1 1/2 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
1. Put the sugar and syrup into a saucepan and stir together to mix. Don’t stir while on the heat.
2. Place the pan on the heat and let the mixture first melt, then turn to goo and then to a bubbling amber mass.
3. Remove from heat and whisk in the Bicarb. Turn out onto baking paper.
4. Let cool and smash.
